Abstract—Circular antenna array pattern optimization for null performance improvement is carried out in this paper. Array geometries optimized for element locations in one elevation plane are found to provide good null performance uniformly for all elevation planes if the inter-element linear separations are kept within [0.5, 1] λ0 . Optimizations for element locations have been carried out using Real Coded GA and BAT Algorithms independently.
